The victims or victim's families my guess may sue Con Ed and the City as well.
I posted a tweet there was a gas complaint prior to the explosion but my coverage since 2007 there makes me thing years of infrastructure problems involved magnifying the explosion so the City will get sued and the alleged guilty in criminal case might use the on going infrastructure mess there in defense? Instead not far from the explosion for Cooper unions supersizing they hired sub contractors to try and keep up.
